Wild beauty, woodland peace

A secluded escape on the edge of Dartmoor

Come for the stillness, stay for the magic.

Camping, Dartmoor style

Welcome to Dartmoor Camping—a peaceful hideaway nestled on the edge of Dartmoor. With four secluded woodland pitches and four spacious meadow emplacements, this is a place to switch off, slow down, and soak up the sounds of nature. Think birdsong with your morning coffee, owls calling through the trees as you drift off to sleep, and the crackle of a campfire under a sky full of stars.

Set within private woodland and open pasture, the campsite has been kept simple and natural to preserve the landscape and let nature take centre stage. There’s no electricity and minimal facilities—just quiet, space, and the freedom to reconnect with the land around you. Keep your eyes peeled—deer are often seen moving quietly through the trees at dawn and dusk.
